27-Year-Old Man Stabbed To Death Over Sister’s Relationship Dispute News24 –

A horrific incident took place in the national capital, where a 27-year-old man was allegedly beaten up and stabbed to death by a group of people. The incident took place in the Khyala area of West Delhi.

He was attacked because he did not accept the love affair between his sister and one of the accused. According to the officer, the suspects involved are Anmol alias Honey, 23, Preetpal, 25, and Piyush alias Pannu, 23. Preetpal has been taken into custody, he said. It is reported that Ishmeet Singh is deceased. Ishmeet’s father brought him to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital on May 19, and there he died during the course of his treatment.

As quoted by ABP News, a senior police officer said, “Preliminary investigation has revealed that the incident happened due to a long-standing dispute between Ishmeet and the main accused, Anmol. There was a dispute between them regarding Anmol’s relationship with Ishmeet’s sister.”

Ishmeet’s family was said to be against the relationship and had urged Anmol to end it. Ishmeet himself had also warned Anmol multiple times, which allegedly caused tension between them. According to him, when Ishmeet came home on the evening of May 19, he saw Anmol along with his two friends, Preetpal and Piyush, near his house. A verbal argument began, which quickly escalated into a physical fight.

Reports say that the alleged assailant grabbed Ishmeet and began hitting him with kicks and punches. When the attack began, one of the attackers stabbed Ishmeet in his left leg. Police have registered an investigation based on the appropriate sections of the BNS. Authorities have sent teams in different places to search for and arrest the absconding men.
