YEIDA Approves Phase 1 Layout Map, Construction To Begin Soon –More Details Inside News24 –

Greater Noida: The master layout plan of the International Film City being built in Yamuna City has been passed by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). Film producer Boney Kapoor reached Yamuna Authority on Monday in this regard. The construction work will speed up following the approval of master layout plan. The film city will be spread over a total of 230 acres. Out of this, construction will be done in 80 acres, while the rest of the area will remain vacant for the shooting. The foundation stone of the film city is expected to be laid on June 27.
Film City Is Being Built In Sector 21
The film city is being built in sector 21 of Yamuna City. A green belt will be developed in 26 acres inside the film city, while 54 acres will include film studios and other activities including university for shooting. The construction of the film city will give wings to development in Greater Noida and Yamuna City area. People will be able to fulfil their dreams from here. Notably, Asia’s largest Noida International Airport is also being built in Yamuna area.
The Map Has Been Returned Once
The map of the film city has been returned once in the past. Earlier, when film producer Boney Kapoor and the production company Bhutani Group together prepared the master layout plan of the film city and submitted it to Yamuna Authority, the authority refused to pass it, citing flaws including the green belt not being completely clear. Therefore, the map was returned. All the flaws have been rectified now and the map has been successfully passed by Yamuna Authority.
Dream Project Of CM Yogi
The film city is the dream project of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He has mentioned this film city in more than 100 of his meetings. He has said that Uttar Pradesh can now be compared to Mumbai. Possession of the film city was obtained in February. Now after the map is passed, the construction will speed up. It is expected that shooting of films will start here in the coming 1 to 2 years.
Shooting Will Be Possible From Helicopter
Special arrangements are being made for shooting from helicopter in the film city. For this, a runway is being prepared here, so that films can be shot from helicopters. In order to shoot the film in the best way, apart from Parliament location, sea area, sound stage and many other main places will be built inside the film city.
Map Of 150 Acres To Be Passed In The Second Phase
After the map of 80 acres was passed in the first phase, preparations for the second phase have also been started. In the second phase, map of about 150 acres is to be passed. For this, after rectifying the limitations pointed out by the authority, the construction company will send the master layout plan to Yamuna Authority for approval. This plan will be sent after the foundation stone is laid.
Map Passed On The Basis Of Conditions
CEO of Yamuna Authority Dr. Arun Vir Singh stated that the map has been passed on the basis of conditions. First of all, green belt will be developed in the film city. After that other activities will start. In the first phase, the map of 80 acres has been passed.
