Bengaluru Power Shutdown On June 20: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced power supply cuts in many areas June 20, Friday, so that emergency maintenance work can take place. Power supply will be cut for 7 hours, from 10 am to 5 pm, in Bengaluru. The cut power supply will be restored, if work is completed early.

“On account of emergency maintenance work by KPTCL at the Mahalaxmi Layout Substation in Bengaluru, BESCOM will carry out the shutdown for the power cut in various areas, under the N-7 sub-division of the Peenya division on June 20, Friday, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM,” said BESCOM in a statement.
