Elderly Woman Injured In Jaipur As Thieves Snatch Chain News24 –

A shocking incident took place in Jaipur’s Sector-7 of Vidyadhar Nagar police station area, where an elderly woman who had gone out for a morning walk was targeted by bike-borne robbers. The miscreants snatched the woman’s gold chain and fled. During the snatching, the woman fell on the road, causing serious injuries on her face. The entire incident has been recorded in the CCTV camera.

It is said that the woman was taking a morning walk near the colony, when two youths came on a bike at high speed. The youth sitting behind suddenly snatched the chain from the woman’s neck and both fled. The woman fell and kept writhing in pain on the road, later people nearby came to help. But by then the accused ran away.

This incident has created an atmosphere of fear among the people of the area and has raised serious questions on the security system of the area. Now the question arises that when such incidents can happen in broad daylight in VIP areas, then how safe are the common citizens? As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and cordoned off the area and started searching for the accused. Currently, police is investigating the case.
