Classes Resume At South Kolkata Law College Amid Heavy Police Presence; Union Rooms To Remain Locked News24 –

After more than 10 days of closure following the alleged gang rape of a student by TMC supporter Monojit Mishra and a few others, South Kolkata College resumed classes on Monday. The college was reopened after a heavy deployment of police on the campus. The Calcutta High Court have ordered the resumption of classes as early as possible. Somnath Mukherjee, an advocate and guest lecturer at the college, said the court has given certain directions which will be ensured and followed.

“The high court has given some guidelines, and we will follow them,” Mukherjee told ANI.
