Delhi Traffic Alert! Restrictions And Diversions In Place Ahead Of PM Modi’s UER-2 Inauguration In Rohini


Delhi Traffic Police on Saturday issued a comprehensive traffic advisory ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Rohini, Sector 37, today. The advisory, effective from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., has been issued in view of the inauguration of the Dwarka Expressway and UER-2. Commuters are urged to avoid key roads in the Tikri Border – Peeragarhi and Rohini areas. Additionally, they are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, as extensive traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place.

The Delhi Traffic Police said that Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) and other roads connected to it will be closed on Sunday. Traffic will also remain disrupted on Rohtak Road from Peeragarhi to Tikri Border and vice versa. Other affected roads include Bhagwan Mahavir Road and connecting roads such as Bawana Road, Kanjhawala Road, Kanjhawala Link Road, and Badsha Dahiya Marg.

Tikri Border-Peeragarhi Stretch:

  • Commercial vehicles will not be allowed on Rohtak Road from Tikri Border to Peeragarhi and vice versa
