Yogi Adityanath Orders UP Police Ahead Of Festive Season News24 –


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that Anti-Romeo squads be made more active across all districts, stressing that women’s safety remains a top priority for the government. In a law and order review meeting held via video conferencing ahead of the festival season, he also discussed flood relief, dengue prevention, and announced the launch of a new phase of Mission Shakti during Sharadiya Navratri. The Chief Minister further warned officials against negligence in handling public grievances, stating that complaints received through the IGRS and CM Helpline must be addressed to the satisfaction of the complainants.

At the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released rankings on the disposal of complaints received through the IGRS and CM Helpline across divisions, districts, tehsils, zones, ranges, and local police stations. He directed officers to address grievances with sensitivity and respect for victims’ sentiments, warning that disciplinary action would be taken against those submitting false or misleading reports. Expressing satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of recent festivals, the CM also instructed the police and administration to remain on high alert for Barawafat, Anant Chaturdashi, and Vishwakarma Puja.
