Goldy Brar Gang Shooters Arrested; After Disha Patani, the gang targeted ‘This’ Comedian News24 –

An encounter between the Delhi Police and members of the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang on Jaitpur–Kalindi Kunj Road has shocked the locals this morning. Police officials confirmed that two shooters from the gang were arrested following the exchange of fire. Both the criminals were acting on the instructions of their handlers based abroad. They sustained gunshot injuries during the encounter and were given first aid at the district hospital. Their condition is now stable.

The gang were directed ‘Live’ from the handlers abroad

The police investigations revealed that the shooters were planning attacks on social media influencers. According to police, they also had a plot to assassinate a well-known influencer soon. The police intervention has now spoiled the plan. According to police sources, comedian Munawar Farooqui was among their intended targets. It should be noted that Farooqui and several other influencers have previously received death threats.

Criminal Absconding for 12 months also caught

According to police sources, one person who had been absconding for 12 months and was involved in a triple murder case in Haryana was also among the team. The accused has been identified as Rahul, a resident of Panipat. Rahul was involved in the triple murder case in Yamuna Nagar in December 2024. He had been on the run, changing his identity many times. Apart from him, the other accused, Sahil, is a resident of Bhiwani. Meanwhile, the police are investigating the details of the criminal cases registered against Sahil.

Goldy Brar targeted Munawar Farooqui

According to the police, a pistol and a bike were recovered from the criminals. The whereabouts of the recovered weapons are being investigated. An investigation is also underway to determine whether the bike was stolen by examining its number plate. According to the police, Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar are both notorious gangsters who lure unemployed youth into the world of crime by promising them money. Recently, their accomplices made headlines by firing at actress Disha Patani’s home. Now, they are targeting famous influencers in Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Bengaluru to extort money.
