About the Video
DMK is the ruling party of Tamil Nadu. South District Secretary Jayapalan indirectly threatened to kill PM Modi at a protest against SIR in Tenkasi district. DMK leader Jayapalan compared PM Modi to Narakasura. He said, “Modi is desperate to steal your votes. He is another Narakasura. Only by eliminating him can Tamil Nadu benefit. We must fight this battle unitedly and win.” BJP Outraged
BJP president Nayanar Nagendran shared the video
Tamil Nadu BJP President Nayanar Nagendran shared the video on social media and wrote: “Threatening to kill a leader holding a very important position in the country, especially a great leader respected worldwide, without any respect or stage etiquette, raises doubts about the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu. In particular, the silence of Tenkasi MP Rani Sreekumar and Sankarankovil MLA Raja, who were present there, without stopping the District Secretary’s brutal speech, exposes the violent nature and cruelty of the entire party.
Whatever excuses the DMK makes to avoid this, they will not be accepted. I urge the DMK government to immediately arrest DMK South District Secretary Jayapalan, who has made statements that endanger the safety of the Honourable Prime Minister of India.”
