Massive fire breaks out on 5th floor of an eight-storey building, several fire tenders rushed to spot News24 –
Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in an apartment in a residential complex in Mumbai on Wednesday evening (November 19, 2025). According to reports, there was uproar due to a fire in an eight-story structure in the Vidyavihar area. Following the information, numerous fire department units arrived at the scene and began working to extinguish the fire. There were no casualties recorded as of now.
The blaze was reported in the Kohinoor City building on Peter Parera Road in Mumbai. The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) declared the fire a Level-II at 5.52 pm. According to officials, the building has eight floors above the ground.
In a separate incident that took place in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon, fire engulfed the ground floor of a four-storey residential building, located in the Kurla West area. Civic officials said that the blaze was triggered due to leakage from a gas pipeline. No casualties have been reported in the fire that erupted at 1.20 pm at the Mubarak building in Vinoba Bhave Nagar.
