Bangladesh Focuses On India-Australia Battle For WTC Final Spot


The scenario of the World Test Championship is continuously changing. On September 3, Bangladesh made history by defeating Pakistan and whitewashed the host by 2-0. This victory has significantly boosted Bangladesh, both in terms of team morale and their standing in the WTC points table.

Currently, Bangladesh is at fourth position with 3 wins and 3 losses with 45.83 PCT whereas, India is on top and followed by Australia and New Zealand.

Teams like New Zealand, South Africa, and England are too in the competition in the race to WTC final at the iconic Lord’s, London.

All Eyes On Border-Gavaskar Trophy 

The world cricket will witness one of the most fearsome battle between India and Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (5 Test matches). India is  currently the reigning champions of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, whereas, Australia last won the trophy in 2014-15.

WTC Final At Lord’s

The World Test Championship final will be held between June 11 and June 15 at the iconic Lord’s, London. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the game also has a reserve day on June 16. This will the third edition of the WTC final that will be held in England.
