Jasprit Bumrah could have won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award. Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah dominated the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 with his stellar performance, picking up 32 wickets from five games. He was named the Player of the Series for his milestone achievement. However, despite delivering such a wonderful performance, he couldn’t help Team India defend the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. 

Jasprit Bumrah also became the fastest Indian pacer to pick 200 wickets in Test cricket and broke Bishan Singh Bedi’s 47-year-old record of 31 wickets in an away Test series by an Indian. The latter sustained a back spasm during the first innings of the fifth Test and wasn’t able to bowl further in the match.
