The ex KKR star and GT’s current skipper Gill returned to play the match against his former team in Eden Gardens. Where GT ended up winning the match by a huge margin of 39 runs.

Why KKR Is Being Bashed For Their 2021 Auction Decision

Fans are bashing KKR for their decision of letting go of player like Gill after witnessing his brilliant performance in yesterdays match and comparing Venkatesh’s performance with Gill’s performance where he scored a total of 90 runs in 55 balls and also build a partnership of 114 runs with Sai Sudharsan. On the other hand Iyer got out after scoring just 14 runs in 19 balls. This led the fans to criticise KKR for letting Gill go when they should have retained him and spending 23.75 Cr. on retaining Venkatesh Iyer.

After seeing Venkatesh Iyer’s bad performance in yesterday’s match people are trolling his and calling him fraud and calling KKR’s management dumb for spending 23.75 Cr. for retaining a player like him who displayed such a bad batting performance.
