This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown was tremendous, offering great entertainment for the fans. Storylines progressed well through impactful segments and action-packed matches. Randy Orton made an appearance, and both Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa were involved in the action. A Fatal 4-Way match was announced for Backlash. The women’s division also delivered in style. Let’s take a look at the highlights:
LA Knight’s Segment & Damian Priest Match
LA Knight called out Damian Priest, expressing his frustration over Priest’s interference in his match against Drew McIntyre last week. Priest entered the ring and claimed he had actually saved Knight from McIntyre. The two exchanged heated words and challenged each other.
A referee arrived, and an impromptu match between Damian Priest and LA Knight began. Both superstars delivered a thrilling contest, countering each other with intensity. However, Solo Sikoa suddenly attacked Priest outside the ring. Knight then hit Sikoa with the BFT inside the ring. Jacob Fatu appeared and laid waste to both Knight and Priest, delivering a devastating running hip attack to Priest on the barricade.

Pretty Deadly Match & Nia Jax Segment
The show featured a tag match involving Pretty Deadly and Frazer & Axiom. All four competitors showcased their strength and agility. In the end, Axiom executed a flying Spanish Fly, and Nathan Frazer finished with a Phoenix Splash for the win.
Nia Jax then entered the ring to heavy boos from the crowd. She declared that she had been focusing on the Women’s Championship. Tiffany Stratton interrupted her, saying she was no longer the same Tiffany that Nia used to intimidate. Naomi joined the confrontation, but Jade Cargill stormed the ring, starting a brawl. Ultimately, Stratton and Cargill stood tall.

Aleister Black Match & Zelina Vega Victory
Aleister Black faced The Miz in a previously announced match. Black dominated and didn’t need to exert much effort to secure the win. Carmelo Hayes tried to interfere but backed off after a staredown with Black. Black hit the Black Mass and pinned Miz. Post-match, Black and Hayes had another intense staredown.
In the women’s division, U.S. Champion Zelina Vega battled Piper Niven, with Chelsea Green at ringside. Near the end, Green distracted the referee, but Niven mistakenly knocked her off the apron. Vega capitalized and rolled up Niven for the win.

Randy Orton Segment & Rey Fenix Match
Randy Orton took a shot at John Cena, calling him arrogant and a fraud. He vowed to take Cena down with a Punt Kick at Backlash, in front of his own family. Backstage, R-Truth warned Orton that Cena would defeat him. Jimmy Uso interrupted and told Truth to keep quiet.
In one of the best matches of the night, Rey Fenix took on Santos Escobar. Escobar dominated early, but Fenix fought back and eventually secured a hard-fought victory.

Main Event Tag Team Match
In the main event, Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill teamed up against Nia Jax and Naomi. The match started with Jax and Naomi in control. All four women delivered high-impact performances. In the end, Cargill power bombed Jax and pinned her for the win. After the match, Cargill held up the Women’s Championship. Tiffany demanded the title, but Naomi attacked her from behind and raised the title triumphantly.
