Season Disappointing For Rishabh Pant Amid India-Pakistan Border Tensions, Sanjay Bangar Breaks Silence! News24 –

Like the IPL 2025 season, which was put on hold for a week because of increased border tensions between India and Pakistan, the season has also been disappointingly bad for the star wicket-keeper Batsman Rishabh Pant, for Team India. So far, Pant has managed to rake up a score of 128 runs in 11 matches, in which his team has lost 6 of those 11 games. These days former cricketer Sanjay Bangar had made a strong statement on Pant’s form.

What Did Sanjay Bangar Say About Pant?

“One has to admit that he hasn’t fully understood the white-ball game yet. There’s no doubt that he’s a brilliant Test cricketer. But this season, I’ve noticed that he has often gotten out while trying to play shots from behind the stumps.”

“If you look at any of Rishabh Pant’s good innings, where has he scored the runs? Through the covers, stepping out and hitting straight down the ground, or towards mid-wicket. But here, he’s trying reverse sweeps. In my opinion, he seems a bit confused and has forgotten that his best game comes when he sticks to grounded shots to build his innings.”Bangar further added:

The IPL has not been the best of late for those in the team of Pant since he is playing with poor form, and thus, such has been his team, Lucknow Super Giants. In 11 matches, Lucknow has scooped only five but lost six. To be in the playoff race,e the team needs to win the last three games.
