This has raised concerns over India’s opening batting as the England series will kick things off from 20 June and after Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement from Test cricket, the Indian batting lineup has suffered a major setback. To fill the gap of two eminent batting maestros in the Test cricket squad, India needs to see for future options for the two. Jaiswal who had performed exceptionally well in the previous England Test series, will be one of the key players in this series.
