India will be playing five-match Test series against England starting from June 20 with the first Test to be held at Headingley. This is the first time India will be playing in absence of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin. After Rohit Sharma retired, Shubman Gill has taken charge as the new Test captain of India and he will be facing a big task to manage the team.
Jasprit Bumrah will also be playing but he will only feature in three Tests which have still not been decided. The decision will be depending on the results according to head coach Gautam Gambhir. The current squad has many new young faces and team India is already going through a transition phase and facing the Bazball without key experienced players will prove to be a difficult task.
