Alongside fellow cricket expert Manoj Tiwari, Sehwag selected a team comprising standout performers from this year’s campaign, unveiling the lineup on Cricbing. Notably, Shreyas Iyer, who led Punjab Kings to the final, has been named the captain of Sehwag’s XI.

Sehwag’s choice of openers highlights a mix of youth and experience. Sai Sudharsan, the season’s leading run-scorer, had a phenomenal IPL with 759 runs at an average of 54.21 and a strike rate of 156.17, including a century and six half-centuries.
