Vijay Mallya’s Advice To RCB And Virat Kohli For Next IPL Season, Picks 4 Indian Cricketers To Be Included For Next Season News24 –

Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru owner, Vijay Mallya, was recently seen in conversation with Indian YouTuber, Raj Shamani, on his podcast channel on YouTube, Figuring Out With Raj Shamani. he expressed his desire to see 4 Indian cricketers in the RCB squad besides Virat Kohli. Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru founder still has ambitions for his former team. He said that he would love to see Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and KL Rahul. He also said that if they had been in the team, he would definitely have won the trophy.

If dreams could come true, Jasprit Bumrah. If dreams could come true Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul. If I had these four I wouldn’t need anybody else and would definitely win the trophy,” said Mallya on Raj Shamani’s podcast.

Vijay Mallya founded the team in 2008 and after 18 long years he was able to see his team lifting the IPL trophy for the first time. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated the Punjab Kings in a thrilling finals at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad by 6 runs.

Rishabh Pant (Lucknow Super Giants)

It was not a very easy IPL season for Rishabh Pant in 2025. Although the team paid the highest transfer fee for him, he wasn’t able to live up to what was expected of him. In 4 games, he managed to score only 19 runs at an average of 4.75 and with a strike rate of less than 60. He was able to create an impact only in the last game for the franchise against RCB when he smashed an electrifying century.

KL Rahul (Delhi Capitals)

KL Rahul finished as the highest run-maker for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025, getting 539 runs from 13 matches. His batting numbers were impressive, but because his strike rate was 136.13, people considered it not very desirable for T20. This problem, combined with talk about his leadership, made people discuss the team’s future. The team did not decide to keep him for the upcoming season.

Jasprit Bumrah (Mumbai Indians)

In 14 games, Jasprit Bumrah managed to take 18 wickets during the season. His skill in bowling fast and taking economy runs was very useful for the Mumbai Indians. In one unforgettable act, Shreyas Iyer lobbed a long shot past Bumrah’s yorker to prove how tough it is to hinder him.

Suryakumar Yadav (Mumbai Indians)

Suryakumar Yadav showed his skills with 717 runs during the season. Iyer broke the record held by AB de Villiers to be the non-opener with the most runs scored in a single IPL event. His strong game at this season allowed him to become the MVP of the season.
