Former India captain and MS Dhoni turned 44 on Monday and once again ‘Captain Cool’ celebrated it in a very simple way at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) stadium in Ranchi. The video of the celebration went immediately viral, it reflected MS Dhoni’s down-to-earth nature and the way he keeps everything in his life low-key.

The festivities of the day started in Vijayawada where the fans had gathered in large number on July 6 holding posters of Dhoni and his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings. MS Dhoni has been the heart of Indian cricket and remains one of the most decorated leaders in internationally.

MS Dhoni has captained India in 332 matches across the three formats – Tests, ODIs and T20Is and has won 178 of them. He has led India towards 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy win. He is the only captain to win all the three ICC white-ball titles.
MS Dhoni returned to captaincy this year in IPL for Chennai Super Kings after Ruturaj Gaikwad was injured and ruled out. In his international career, which began in 2004 – Dhoni played 538 matches and scored 17,266 runs and he recorded 829 dismissals as wicket-keeper.
He has played 350 ODIs, 98 T20Is and 90 Tests overall and he is known to be the most successful captain of India.
