RCB Star Bowler Yash Dayal Hits Back! Lodges Counter-FIR Accusing Woman Of Theft And Fraud Amid Allegations News24 –

Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer Yash Dayal has landed himself in a legal scandal after a Ghaziabad woman filed an FIR against him for ‘sexual exploitation’ on the pretext of marriage. The 27-year-old pacer, who had just helped RCB win the IPL 2025 crown, has refuted the allegations vehemently and filed a counter-complaint with the police in Prayagraj.

In a complaint filed by Dayal, which NDTV has access to, the cricketer has charged the woman with theft, alleging she had stolen his iPhone and laptop. He also disclosed that the two of them had met on Instagram in 2021 and began conversing.

Yash also accuses the woman of having borrowed huge amounts of money from him during their acquaintance, purportedly for his and her family’s medical treatment, with the commitments to repay that have never been fulfilled. Moreover, he accuses her of making constant demands for money for shopping. Dayal claims he has evidence to support these allegations.

When he came to know of the FIR registered against him at the Indirapuram police station under Section 69 of the BNS Act (which prohibits sexual intercourse by fraudulently made promises of marriage), Dayal took the law into his hands by laying his own complaint. His petition requires an FIR against the woman, two members of her family, and some others.

The initial FIR followed after the woman filed a complaint to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) on June 21. She complained that Dayal, with whom she was in a relationship for five years, physically exploited her.

The case is pending, and both sides have taken legal action, with investigations already underway.
