WATCH VIDEO | Mohammad Siraj’s Unfortunate Dismissal That Made Him Cry In India Vs England 3rd Test At Lord’s News24 –
The third Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Lord’s left the Indian cricket fans heartbroken. While the wickets kept falling, Ravindra Jadeja was holding one end firmly. Despite consecutive setbacks, the Indian batters at the crease kept fighting till the end. The saga of Lord’s ended with an unfortunate bowled suffered by Indian star pacer Mohammad Siraj. On the 5th ball of the 75th over, Shoaib Bashir bowled a flighted delivery which, after hitting Siraj’s bat, slowly dragged towards the stumps and hit them. The bails fell and the match ended with the hosts being victorious by 22 runs.
Do you know why Siraj is so sad ?
Because he knows that some people on Twitter will troll him saying that he deliberately lost his wicket.
Stay strong Siraj ✊#INDvsENG

An Unfortunate Dismissal
Siraj was attempting to hold on at the crease, but spinner Shoaib Bashir produced a smart delivery. The delivery was thrown up outside off stump and came on a good length. Siraj retreated back onto the back foot and defended it nicely, even managing to hit it from the middle of the bat. But due to the spin and bounce from Bashir, the ball spun after hitting the pitch and came back into the stumps. It calmly struck the leg stump and dislodged the bail. Siraj was stunned, and the England team ran in jubilation, thrilled with the last wicket. Siraj scored 4 runs in Lord’s second innings.
Absolutely gutted for Ravindra Jadeja. Heart goes out to Md. Siraj.
We lost by just 22 runs, so close, yet so far. 💔What a game of Test Cricket we’ve all witnessed! Box office stuff!
Well played, England. #INDvsENG pic.twitter.com/thKYnXYySs
