Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have joined back the Indian squad after a hiatus of seven months as they have already retired from the Tests and T20Is. This means that they’ll be only playing the ODIs and are currently in Perth to play three-match series against Australia.
One moment that gained spotlight amid all this was how a young fan reacted when he got Virat Kohli’s autograph in Perth. The boy got super-excited and he was seen rolling on the ground out and jumping out of excitement.

The Indian team came in two groups and will have two more practice sessions prior to the ODI series commencing on October 29. Kohli was also in good rhythm and was spotted laughing with Arshdeep Singh after a conversation with bowling coach Morne Morkel.
The last international event Kohli played was when India won the Champions Trophy after which he will now be making a comeback after 7 months hiatus. There were a lot of speculations about his ODI future as well when Ajit Agarkar announced the India squad for Australia series but mentioned that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are non-committal about the 2027 World Cup. Even though Kohli has expressed his aim to play the World Cup.
In ODIs, Virat is nearing 15,000 runs milestone and currently he has 14,181 runs which includes 51 centuries and 74 half-centuries. Kohli arrived in Delhi on October 14 to join the Indian team before it departed for the Australia tour, then on October 15 he left for Australia.
