AJ Lee’s Shocking Comeback
AJ Lee who is also the wife of a famous WWE star CM Punk, returned to the ring during Becky Lynch’s match against Maxxine Dupri, satisfying fans who’d awaited her return after her in-ring return at Wrestlepalooza in September. The fans erupted when they heard Lee’s music during Becky’s title defense against Dupri.

AJ Lee’s Distraction Helps Dupri Secure Her First WWE Title
Unknown to Lynch, AJ Lee’s presence occupied her focus. This allowed Maxxine Dupri to climb to the top rope and connect with a crossbody for the victory, winning her first title in the process. The WWE account posted an unseen video of Punk and Ripley, two people who have also had issues with Lynch in the past, visibly happy for Dupri’s accomplishment.
The emotion displayed by both wrestlers further sweetened the moment for the Alpha Academy member. Dupri has been working hard to enhance her in-ring capabilities, and the Women’s Intercontinental Championship is the ultimate reward.
