Who ate what at Dhoni’s Dinner Party in Ranchi? Check out names of India stars who are vegetarian and non-vegetarian News24 –

Team India has touched down in Ranchi for the first ODI against South Africa, and as always, there was one man the entire squad was excited to meet – MS Dhoni. Just before the three-match series, the former India captain invited several players over for a cozy dinner at his farmhouse, creating the kind of moment fans look forward to just as much as the match itself.

Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, and Ruturaj Gaikwad were among the players spotted arriving at Dhoni’s place on November 27. A video that quickly went viral showed the trio entering Dhoni’s residence, and fans on social media immediately lit up with nostalgia. Star Sports even called it “the most special reunion of the year,” and honestly, it’s hard to disagree.

But what really stole the show was Dhoni personally driving Virat Kohli back to the team hotel after the dinner. Just two legends of Indian cricket, chatting away on a late Ranchi night, you couldn’t script it any better.

Interestingly, one person who wasn’t seen in any photos or videos was head coach Gautam Gambhir. His absence instantly triggered speculation online. Given how active fans are with anything involving Gambhir and Kohli, the internet wasted no time in pointing out that the coach was nowhere to be seen. Had he been there, you can bet someone would’ve captured it.

Vegetarians vs Non-Vegetarians: Who Eats What in the Indian Team?

Beyond the reunion hype, another fun discussion popped up, the food preferences of Team India’s stars. And surprisingly, the team is pretty evenly split.

Vegetarian Cricketers: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Abhishek Sharma, and Rinku Singh. These players stick to green plates, with Kohli being the most high-profile vegetarian in the squad after switching his diet years ago.

Non-Vegetarian Cricketers: MS Dhoni, Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson, Kuldeep Yadav, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Shreyas Iyer, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Varun Chakravarthy, and Harshit Rana.

Dhoni, of course, continues to remain a fan of simple, home-style non-veg dishes, while Pant and SKY are also known to enjoy a hearty non-veg meal.

All eyes on Virat and Rohit

With the series starting on November 30 at the JSCA Stadium, this warm get-together has set the perfect tone. Dhoni might not be playing anymore, but moments like these remind everyone why his presence still feels as impactful as ever. The cricket will take center stage soon but for now, Ranchi’s most iconic host has already delivered the first big highlight.
