The highlight of Monday Night RAW was the opener of the show, which announced that four ex-WWE World Champions would fight in a giant tag team match. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY were the one who challenged their WarGames partners, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, only two nights after fighting together in the violent and bloody match last weekend.
Rhea Ripley Turns The Tide As Team Dominates Chaotic WarGames Clash
At Survivor Series, the four of them, together with AJ Lee, were the ones who won the match. This match was full of exciting moments, with Charlotte even saving Rhea from Asuka’s mist as the cherry on top. The contest got off to a start with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair in charge, as they were the ones to isolate IYO from Rhea, but everything turned upside down when The Eradicator was brought into the match. She was in total control of Bliss while she was in the ring.
Tensions Explode As Ripley And Charlotte Clash
The past caused huge stress between Ripley and Charlotte during the match, and both of them accidentally struck one another while situated on the ring apron. Flair again struck Ripley in the ring apron, which made Ripley furious. She retaliated with a Razor’s Edge, and immediately Sky followed it up with a missile drop kick, but only managed to secure a two count. Flair and Bliss then teamed up against Ripley, but she also managed to kick out at two.
Chaos Ensues As Interference Spoils A Near Victory For Former Champions
The previous champions in the tag team looked like they were going to win, with Flair and Bliss dashing a flawless pairing of Natural Selection and Sister Abigail on IYO, but Rhea reversed the pin. She removed Flair and proceeded to do Riptide on Bliss, to which IYO SKY responded with a moonsault. They were definitely on the way to a win, but Flair shoved Rhea into SKY to stop the count. The bout eventually resulted in no result after The Kabuki Warriors came in, attacked, and caused the same to happen to both teams.
Tag Team Division Plunges Into Turmoil
This was followed by an outbreak of anarchy when Bayley and Lyra Valkyrie eliminated the Tag team champions. However, even before they would have glowed, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez of the Judgement Day team did away with them so publicly showing their intention to take the tag team titles.
