We are only a few days into 2026, but Drew McIntyre has already done enough to earn the title of Hater of the Year in WWE. The Scottish Psychopath has not only lived up to his name but also used very unconventional methods to annoy Cody Rhodes in the buildup to their final confrontation. McIntyre, during his SmackDown appearance, not only referred to Cody’s deceased father, Dusty Rhodes but also ended up setting an old photo of the father and son on fire. He did not stop there as the ex-WWE Champion even got caught on the bus of Cody Rhodes, hence, taking their feud to a whole new level.

Brandi Rhodes, Cody Rhodes’ wife, was alongside and, as predicted, was mad about McIntyre’s disrespectful maneuvers. Brandi tweeted on X/Twitter a short but very clear reply, which indirectly hinted at a possible confrontation and a war of words with McIntyre. Drew McIntyre has tried to make Cody Rhodes’ life a hell of a lot harder even at house shows where he was insulting the undisputed world champion and Brandi’s family, who were at the venue, during a live event.
