CM Punk looks to Hollywood, hopes to team up with THESE big WWE stars

CM Punk reveals his dream project with John Cena and a WWE legend. Although he is the present World Heavyweight Champion, The Second City Saint still chases his various interests outside the ring. Apart from pro wrestling, Punk has been involved in many other activities and projects.

Initially, Punk was synonymous with his UFC adventure when he quit World Wrestling Entertainment. Apart from that, The Voice of the Voiceless has also become a legend for the writing of several comic issues, particularly for Marvel Comics. Not long ago, Punk shared about another hobby of his; he is interested in acting in Hollywood films.

On a conversation with My Mom’s Basement host Robbie Fox, CM Punk was questioned about doing a film together with John Cena, who, in recent times, has turned into one of the most prominent film stars, particularly due to his performances in Suicide Squad and the popular series Peacemaker.

The Second City Saint confessed that the subject has been brought up already several times; nevertheless, due to The Cenation Leader’s busy timetable, there is no serious matter at the moment. The 47-year-old expressed his desire to partner with The Greatest of All Time eventually and mentioned that besides the fellow World Wrestling Entertainment legend, Batista (Dave Bautista), Cena was on his list of actors he wishes to work with.

“I’ve had a couple meetings, and that topic has come up. I can only imagine what John’s slate looks like; it’s probably super, super busy.

“I’d imagine some time in the future we’ll be working together. I’ve got like bucket list names I wanna work with, and selfishly a lot of them are my friends; Dave (Bautista) and John are probably like the top two.” h/t: WrestleTalk

Punk is already well-acquainted with the movie industry as he took the leading role in the film The Girl on the Third Floor, gave his voice to the character Zebro Zebrowski in the animated Zootopia 2, and is now one of the actors in the film Night Patrol which will soon be released.
