Virat Kohli surprises fans with unexpected Insta post ahead of ODI series against New Zealand, pictures go viral

India’s star batter Virat Kohli’s recent unexpected post on social media sites has left his fans in a state of utter frenzy as he shared three photos of his training at the nets before the ODI against New Zealand. The glimpse of his training activities has already gone viral.

However, for Kohli’s fans, the post was a welcome relief. Lately, fans have been making it a point to share how they would love to witness more training snippets of the former Indian skipper, which are hardly ever visible on his social media handles. Kohli, it must be noted, has remained pretty active on social media, primarily posting brand endorsement posts, posts featuring him on a holiday with his wife, Anushka Sharma, or marking significant triumphs. These posts would primarily include posts after the Indian T20 World Cup victory, Champions Trophy victory, and the Royal Challengers’ IPL 2025 triumph. Hence, this training post was different, which definitely made the fans very happy.

The star batter arrived in Vadodara this week as he started his preparations for the upcoming first ODI against New Zealand. Before this he featured in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and played two matches for Delhi where he accumulated more than 200 runs which even included a century in the first match. He scored 131 runs in the first match and then scored 77 in the second.

Virat Kohli has been in exceptional form as he smashed two consecutive centuries in the ODI series against South Africa. He has displayed why he is the master of his game and will be looking to accumulate more runs in ODI series against New Zealand which is starting from January 11.
