Charlotte Flair returns to SmackDown as Alexa Bliss steals the spotlight in chaotic tag clash

During the WWE SmackDown of the previous week, the reigning Women’s United States Champion Giulia defended her title against Alexa Bliss. The match was not in Giulia’s favor as her partner Charlotte Flair was not there with her and Kiana James was supporting Giulia. Bliss got very close to winning the title but then James caught her attention. She knocked out James, climbed to the top rope to end the match, but then Lash Legend pushed her, which resulted in losing the match.

Charlotte Flair made her WWE SmackDown comeback during tonight’s show, and after her confrontation last week, she teamed up with Bliss to battle Kiana James and the Women’s United States Champion in a tag team contest. Alexa Bliss was the one to start the game against Kiana James and welcomed her with two slaps before giving the turn for Charlotte Flair to enter the fray, working together as a team to take her down.

Bliss came back into the match not too long after but during the commercial break, Giulia and James got her all to themselves. She was able to get away from the onslaught and again tagged Flair in, who turned the tide of the match back to their side. James then tried to eliminate Flair but he did not notice a fast tag from Bliss as she caught her with a sudden Sister Abigail to score the victory. After the match, Nia Jax and Lash Legend once more made their presence felt by taking out Bliss and Flair.
