Prithviraj Sukumaran And Aadujeevitham Team Stuck In Jordan
Prithviraj Sukumaran, the multi-faceted talent of Malayalam cinema is currently busy with the shooting of his ambitious project Aadujeevitham, in Jordan. However, the latest reports suggest that Prithviraj and his team including director Blessy are stuck in Jordan, as the country has stopped all flights and inter-state transportation due to the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the reports, Prithviraj and the team, who are currently shooting in Wadi Rum and staying in a desert camp, might have to face a shortage of necessary items including food and medicines. Recently, director Blessy had penned down a letter to Anto Antony MP, describing their current situation in Jordan. MP Anto Antony has forwarded the mails to Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishanker, to ensure the safety of Aadujeevitham team.
The MP has now confirmed that the cast and crew members of the project are safe. The Aadujeevitham team has received permission to continue the shooting till April 10, 2020. Currently, the only concern for the team members is regarding their return to India, as the flight services are currently suspended.
Prithviraj Sukumaran had recently posted a picture clicked from the location of the project, with a cryptic caption. ‘Life does sometimes meet cinema’, wrote the actor on his post. The fans and well-wishers of Prithviraj, who are worried about the Aadujeevitham crew’s current situations, expressed their concerns on the comment section of the actor’s post. Aadujeevitham, which is based on Benyamin’s best-selling novel of the same name, is scripted by Blessy himself. Prithviraj Sukumaran had taken a 3 months long break from cinema to shed around 30 kilos for his character Najeeb Mohammed, in the movie. The actor is playing the role of an abused migrant laborer who gets stranded in the middle of a desert of Saudi Arabia. The project is produced by KGA Films.
