Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the Chetak electric scooter in the Indian market. The new Bajaj Chetak Electric scooter is offered with a retro-design combined with modern features and equipment, making it an attractive offering in the Indian market.

The Bajaj Chetak EV is the brand’s first all-electric scooter offering from the brand in the Indian market. The electric scooter also brings back the ‘Chetak’ moniker back to the Indian market, after being discontinued for 14 years. The retro-theme of the Bajaj Chetak EV carries forward minimalistic styling, clean body panels with single-tone paint scheme options. In terms of features, the Bajaj Chetak EV comes with LED headlamps, fully-digital instrument cluster, multiple riding modes, regenerative braking and reverse assist; among a host of others.

The Bajaj Chetak EV will be launched in India in a phase-wise manner. Once launched in India, the Chetak EV will rival the likes of the Ather 450 and the Okinawa Praise to name a few.

The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter will be offered in two variants: Urbane and Premium. The electric scooter will be offered with a starting price of Rs 1 lakh. Ex-showroom (Pune & Bangalore) . Bajaj will offer the Chetak Electric scooter will offer a 3-year/50,000km, along with other assurances as well.

Bajaj will offer a complimentary home-charging system with the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter, which will be setup by trained technicians. The Bajaj Chetak Electric scooter also offers a number of customer convenience as well. This includes a 100% digital sales, customer experience centres and home charging setup; among others.

The technical specifications of the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter has been revealed. Battery – 3kWh lithium-ion battery; Motor – 4kW; Torque – 16Nm. The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter also comes with a host of connected technology as well.
