By mid-morning, the White House announced it had “signs that Iran is about to launch a ballistic missile attack on Israel.” Further, A senior White House official said that a direct military attack by Iran on Israel would have severe consequences for Iran.

One individual familiar with the situation said that Israel believed Iran would strike three Israeli air bases and an intelligence base located just north of Tel Aviv.
