US President Donald Trump stated that the US will take control of Gaza, develop it, and keep it for the long term. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced it a historic plan that could change Gaza’s future.

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday stated that America will take over the war-torn Palestinian territory, Gaza Strip, after Palestinians are resettled elsewhere and “will develop it,” and “own it”. The US President conducted a joint press conference with Isaraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after their meeting where he surprised everyone by this statement. He said that he sees a “long-term US ownership” of Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported Trump and said that the Republican leader’s idea is “something that could change history” and noted that Trump envisions a different future for Gaza.
