The US administration notified India about its discovery of certain activities linked to a funding stream, while former President Donald Trump stated that USAID spent 21 million Dollar to influence Indian elections. The Ministry of External Affairs considers this thing troubling and is now evaluating the possible consequences.

He further mentioned, “Relevant departments and agencies are looking into this matter. It would be premature to make a public comment at this stage, so relevant authorities are looking into, and hopefully we can come up with an update on that subsequently.”
