Pakistan Train Hijack: Heart-Wrenching Videos Of Children And Women Hostages Surface News24 –

Pakistan Train Hijack Latest Update: The seemingly serene journey of the Jaffar Express turned into a nightmare on Tuesday. On 11th March, the terrifying news broke out – the train, carrying around 400 passengers, was hijacked by the Baloch Liberation Army. The passengers were taken hostage by the rebels, waiting with bated breath to be freed. Pakistan’s security forces have rescued over 155 hostages as of now. Additionally, 27 “terrorists” have been killed, while many others have been injured, officials stated.

Women And Children Released

The painstaking ordeal continued as reports emerged of women and children being released. In videos circulating on social media, nervous faces of women draped in hijabs and little children could be seen walking through rugged terrain.

As footage continues to surface, revealing the appalling condition of the released hostages, a grim picture threw the Pakistani government into a whirlwind of concern. Clips showing weakened captives, like a woman being carried unconscious, starkly highlight their ordeal.

As efforts to free the hostages continue, special attention is being given to the elderly, as soldiers assist those who appear frail and terrified by the situation. An elderly woman’s teary eyes and the silent scream of her vulnerability is palpable as military personnel assist her.

With masked faces and threatening tones, the rebels warned of dire consequences. WATCH:

The sequence of events took a darker turn before the train was hijacked. The Baloch insurgents reportedly detonated an explosion on the tracks, derailing the train and plunging the passengers into a pool of chaos and uncertainty.
