After US Prez Donald Trump’s threat of bombing, Iran readied missiles to counter potential strike: Report News24 –
US President Donald Trump threatened Iran, saying the nation will face bombing never before with a second tariff if it did not come to the table over its nuclear programme.
According to a Reuters report, the US President said Washington and Tehran were taking over the issue. As per reports, Trump did not elaborate on the talks.
After threats from the United States, the Iranian regime all set to give a befitting reply. According to the Tehran Times, Iran has prepared its missiles and it is ready to handle any potential threat If the US opts any aggression against the country.
The report said the launch-ready missiles are scattered underground across the nation. The Tehran Times wrote on X in a post that the United States will have to pay the price for any aggression.
Tehran Times posted on X, “Opening the Pandora’s box will come at a heavy cost for the U.S. government and its allies.”
Iran’s foreign minister reacted strongly to the United States, stating that it will not bow down under any pressure or intimidation.
On March 10, Iran’s foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi wrote on X, “Iran’s nuclear energy program has always been—and will always remain—entirely peaceful. There is fundamentally therefore no such thing as its “potential militarization”.
We will NOT negotiate under pressure and intimidation. We will NOT even consider it, no matter what the subject may be. Negotiation is different from bullying and issuing diktats.
We are now consulting with the E3—and separately with Russia and China—on equal footing and mutual respect. The aim is to explore ways to build more confidence and more transparency on our nuclear energy program in return for the lifting of unlawful sanctions.
In the past, the US enjoyed respect from Iran whenever it was respectful in its discourse, and it was confronted whenever it adopted a threatening posture. Every action compels a reaction.”
