Gujarat man rapes, impregnates 19-year-old daughter

A man in Gujarat’s Bhavnagar district has been arrested for allegedly raping and impregnating his 19-year-old daughter. The incident came to light on Wednesday when the teenager gave birth to a child at a state-run hospital, Ahmedabad Mirror reported.

According to the police, the girl was taken to a government hospital on Wednesday as she was not feeling well. At the hospital, she gave birth to a baby boy, leaving everyone shocked.

Asked about the father of the child, the teenager revealed that her own father raped her multiple times in the absence of her mother or when she was sleeping. Due to the repeated sexual assaults, the teenager became pregnant.

The police have arrested the girl’s father. The accused, who is a daily wager, has two sons and two daughters. Two sons and one daughter are married and live separately. He used to live with his wife and their youngest daughter in a slum area.
